what are boot verbs?
Boot verbs are verbs, that when conjugated, have a different spelling than the infinitive verb. But the boot verbs also have to follow some rules. Only the verb conjugated inside of the boot, the yo, tú, él/ella/usted, and ellos/ellas/ustedes forms have the spelling change. The nosotros form stays the same way you would conjugate an -ar verb.
There are several types of boot verbs. There are o to ue, u to ue, e to ie, and e to i. To know which vowel to change, look at the stem of the verb and then find the vowel closest to the end.
